At hotel debrett we believe that every wedding is as individual as the couple at the centre of the day. We can host both ceremony & reception, and we style each event to our guests personal preferences – from small & very intimate, to groups up to 100.
Perfect for an intimate ceremony or reception, our rustic European style courtyard is an internal space with a soaring glass ceiling and minimal furnishing, which we transform for small wedding ceremonies and intimate meals or cocktail parties.
Our 10 metre high glass-roofed atrium has an abundance of natural light by day and glowing fire on winter nights, and beautifully lit by Judy Darrah chandeliers at night. This is where we host larger celebrations.
Throughout the hotel are many unique spaces offering a wide range of moods for your wedding photographs.
Depending on the number of guests, we can help you to transform either the courtyard or the atrium for your wedding ceremony.
We can offer a 3 - 5 course set menu for lunch or dinner, tailored from our a la carte menu, with 2 choices per course.
Alternatively, we have an extensive canapé menu to choose from for a standing function.
For a totally private event taking over the entire public area, we do require that all rooms are booked for a minimum of two nights. However as long as other guests still have access to the bar and drawing room, we can hold an evening reception in our atrium with only the inner 8 rooms taken. These are 4 Classic Rooms, 3 Boutique Suites and 1 Loft Suite. Two of the Classic Rooms are wheelchair accessible.
There is an accessible bathroom on the same floor as the restaurant, a lift up from the lobby, and we are happy for fully supervised children to attend functions.
We have florists, photographers, makeup artists, entertainers and celebrants we can recommend if you need assistance in those areas. We are happy for you to provide your own music - although we do need to ensure that it works for the rest of our hotel guests if on a non-exclusive basis, and we will need to control the volume.
Seated lunch or dinner: up to 60 guests
Drinks and canapés: up to 100 guests
We do not charge for the venue, but work on a minimum spend, to be spent on food and beverage at the function, up to $10,000 for the full atrium space.
