The infamous Housebar has been recreated with reference to the bar’s original art deco style.
Situated on the first floor of Hotel DeBrett, Housebar is removed from the bustle of the city streets. Sit back, relax and enjoy our classically inspired cocktail list, choose a local boutique beer, or indulge in a glass of wine from a carefully selected list of NZ vineyards.
Now restored to its former glory, and beginning to attract back an eclectic mix of patrons; most with great stories and memories, mostly from the 80's heyday, but some from as far back as the 50's.
