  • Chef de Partie

    DeBrett's Kitchen at Hotel DeBrett has an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join our award winning restaurant in the heart of Auckland City. Comprising a 50-seat restaurant, two bars, multiple function spaces and 25 suites and rooms, Hotel DeBrett is becoming one of Auckland's premier restaurant and bar destinations.

    Nestled in the heart of the hotel,  DeBretts Kitchen continues to build a formidable reputation in the Auckland dining scene and was name one of Auckland Top 50 Restaurants 2014 by Metro magazine. Now under the leadership of award-winning chef Richard Highnam, it looks to maintain its award-winning status.

    A exciting opportunity exists for an experienced professional to join our award winning team.The person we seek will have;

    • Minimum 3 year experience in a high end a la carte environment

    • Excellent culinary skills and a passion for cooking

    • A Team player is a must• Ability to manage day to day running of a section

    • Ability to recreate dishes on a consistent basis

    • Ability to work under pressure

    • Strong eye for detail and perfection

    • Qualification in culinary arts

    • Ability to do work nights and weekends

  • Guest Services Representative

    We are looking for someone who has:

    • excellent customer service skills

    • experience in the hotel industry

    • previous experience in a boutique or 5 star hotel

    • flexibility to work various hours and shifts (inc. evenings & weekends)

    • strong administrative and operational skills

    • computer and PMS systems literacy (knowledge of THS Phoenix/Clarity would be an advantage)

    • numeric/cashiering skills

    • excellent command of English language

    • ability to drive

    • excellent grooming

    • passion for hospitality

    • team player

    Experience candidates would also be considered for a supervisor role.

    General Managers certificate would be an advantage.

    Your day to day role will include:

    •     cleaning departure and stayover rooms
    •     informing supervisor of stock items needed
    •     cleaning and maintaining the public areas of the hotel
